THE ELVES – A MODERN FAIRY TALE

Welcome to this visual introduction to the Elves, a modern-day fairy tale, inspired by the classic children’s story, “The Shoemaker and the Elves”.
When the naughty gnome, Charlie Chuckles, causes chaos in Greenwood Village, it’s only the elves, Amon and Amieke, that can restore the peace.
BIENKIES
(A proposal for a series of 11 minute television episodes.)
The programme series is aimed at entertaining young viewers (3 to 6 years) with content that is all about having fun while discovering and learning about the world around them and themselves. Fun to watch, play and sing along with.
Four little Bears (Puppets) Nuna, Tully, Pinky and Ticky live in the Bienkies Village. Nuna and Tully are sister and brother and live in the playhouse. Their two friends, Ticky and Pinky, live in their own homes in the village.
Bucks Blue Bear (Puppet) is the train driver and the source of knowledge for the other bears. He plays the role of the authority figure in the series.
Each episode also features Blob, the clay animation character that turns into whatever physical object, letter or number is relevant to the subject of the episode.
All episodes are self-contained and feature the four little bears and Bucks, playing and having fun while finding answers to the questions or problems that they have.
Bienkies is not an educational programme series but does educate in the form of Informal Knowledge Building.
